More than 17 thousand cases have been reported in the country after about a month. According to official figures, on January 29, 18,855 new cases of the virus were reported in 24 hours. According to the updated data released by the Union Health Ministry at 8 am on Thursday, 89 more patients died due to infection in the last 24 hours and the death toll has increased to 1,57,435.
According to statistics, 1,73,413 people are currently undergoing treatment for corona virus infection in the country, which is 1.55 percent of the total cases. With 1,08,26,075 people becoming infection-free in the country, the national rate of recovery of patients has increased to 97.03 percent.
At the same time, the death rate from Covid-19 is 1.41 percent.
