Delhi: People in Delhi are slowly getting relief from the lockdown. From Monday, the exemption under Unlock-5 is being increased here. According to the new guidelines of the Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), gyms and yoga centers will start opening with 50% capacity from Monday. According to the order, now marriages can also be organized in marriage halls, banquet halls and hotels, but the number of guests has been limited to 50 for now.
The order has been issued from 5 am to 5th July on Monday. In the new guideline, a warning has also been given to take strict action for violating the rules of Corona. According to this, any person who breaks the rules, action will be taken under the Disaster Management Act, 2005 and IPC sections. At present, the government has not given permission to open cinema halls and theaters in Delhi.
What is open –
- Yoga centers and gyms can be opened with 50% capacity.
- Weddings can be attended by 50 people.
- Government offices, autonomous bodies, PSUs and corporations can be opened with 100% staff.
- Private offices can be opened from 9 am to 5 pm with 50% staff.
- Shops, Residence Complexes, Ration Stores can be opened from 10 am to 8 pm.
- Permitted weekly markets can be opened with 50% capacity.
Here’s what is still not allowed –
- Schools, Colleges, Educational Institutions, Training Centers, Coaching Institutes
- Social, Political, Sports, Entertainment, Cultural and Religious Events
- Swimming pool, sports complex, cinema hall, multiplex, auditorium, assembly
