Hero Electric Optima VS Hero Electric Nyx
Design
The Hero Electric NYX scooter is designed to handle utility duties and has been constructed appropriately. Its design is straightforward and not overly sophisticated like those of other electric scooters on the market. A helmet and other items can be stored underneath the split seat of this scooter. Additionally, this scooter features a roomy footboard that, if necessary, may hold additional luggage.
Hero Electric Optima resembles a typical ICE two-wheeler except that it is powered by a battery. The LX variation resembles the HX type in terms of styling. The scooter boasts a modern appearance and features a halogen headlamp, a roomy seat, and front blinkers that are located on the apron.
Performance
Only 25 kmph is the top speed of the Hero Electric NYX. You don’t need a licence to use an electric scooter in the city because its top speed is so low. A 600W/1,200W BLDC hub motor powering the Hero NYX pulls energy from two 51.2V/30Ah batteries.
The Hero Electric Optima’s top speed ranges from 25 to 45 kmph. Due to the top speed of this scooter, a licence may be required. Both lead acid and lithium-ion battery types are available for this scooter.
Range and Charging
The Hero Electric NYX has a 51.2V/30Ah twin battery with a range of 165 kilometres and a charging time of about 5 hours.
There are two battery types available for the Hero Electric Optima: lead-acid and lithium-ion. The former has a 50 km range per charge, and the latter has an 85 km range per charge. While the lithium-ion version charges completely in about 4-5 hours, the lead-acid version takes about 8–10 hours.
