Hero MotoCorp: In contrast to 52.47 lakh units sold in CY2022, Hero MotoCorp reported sales of 54.99 lakh units for the 2023 calendar year, indicating a 5% year-over-year increase. Despite the two-wheeler market’s modest growth, the company maintained optimism about its future. However, sales of 393,952 two-wheelers in December 2023 stayed unchanged from the 394,179 two-wheelers that were shipped in December 2022, only falling short by a few hundred units.
Hero MotoCorp’s 2023 sales
Hero MotoCorp said in a statement that overall sales in December 2023 were slightly lower at 3,93,952 units compared to 3,94,179 units in the same month the previous year.
Sales of motorcycles were 3,54,658 last month compared to 3,56,749 during the same period last year. Nonetheless, the business reported that scooter sales in December 2023 increased to 39,294 from 37,430 in the same month the previous year.
Hero and Ather
Hero MotoCorp and Ather Energy announced their collaboration on Tuesday to create an interoperable fast-charging network throughout India. EV consumers will be able to easily use both the VIDA and Ather grids nationwide thanks to this partnership. With over 1900 fast-charging stations, the merged network will span 100 cities.
