Hero Surge S32: Hero MotoCorp’s Surge startup has introduced the Surge S32, a modular vehicle that can transport passengers or cargo by combining an electric scooter and a three-wheeler. This is the first time a firm explored such an inventive idea in India. In this article, we will share all we know about this extraordinary vehicle.

Hero Surge S32 in detail

In addition to being intended for traditional three-wheeler use, this multifunctional vehicle also functions as an electric scooter. In a matter of minutes, the scooter is simple to attach to or remove from the three-wheeler.

Switching between various vehicle types with a single vehicle is made possible for owners of the Surge S32. By hopping on an electric scooter after a long day at work, owners can become a more relaxed and trendy version of themselves. To remove the scooter from the three-wheeler configuration, Surge claims that it just takes three minutes.

Posting a video on his social media account X, which was originally Twitter, Harsh Goenka wrote, “Hero has revealed a groundbreaking three-wheeler that can transform into a two-wheeler, highlighting the inventive spirit and ingenuity of Indian engineering. Witnessing such pioneering advancements is truly remarkable.”

Powertrain details

The 3W vehicle and the 2W scooter have the same battery and drivetrain. The 3W can reach a high speed of 50 km/h, while the scooter can reach a slightly faster top speed of 60 km/h. The 3W has a respectable load-carrying capacity of 500 kg. Surge plans to provide one model for passenger transportation and three variations for cargo models.
