Hero: The Hero MotoCorp Mavrick 440, a motorcycle modelled after the Harley-Davidson X440, will be unveiled on January 23, 2024. The Mavrick 440 is expected to rival the Royal Enfield 350 series, Yezdi, and Jawa 300-350 cc motorcycles, thanks to its aggressive-looking fuel tank and retro-inspired styling. Also, we expect the company to reveal the Xtreme 125R at the event. The bike will be a direct competitor of the TVS Raider 125 which is rules the 125cc market right now. In this article, we will share all we know about the upcoming bikes.
Hero Xtreme 125R details
The Hero Xtreme 125R possesses a striking look thanks to its massive fuel tank, aggressive LED headlamp, and tank extensions that display the ‘125R’ emblem. The two-piece seat and narrow tail section are features of the bike.
The Xtreme 125R’s mechanical parts consist of a normal telescopic fork up front and a mono-shock at the back. In addition to alloy wheels, it sports a front disc brake.
What powers the Hero Xtreme 125R is a brand-new 125cc single-cylinder engine. Even though the engine’s power and torque numbers are yet unknown, we expect it to be mated to a five-speed gearbox.
To undercut the Raider 125, Hero may offer it at roughly Rs. 90,000 (ex-showroom).
Hero Mavrick 440
The 440cc, oil-cooled, two-valve, SOHC engine of the Mavrick has a maximum output of 27 horsepower and 38 Nm of torque. There is a 6-speed gearbox mated to this engine. Bikes like the Harley Davidson V440, the Triumph Speed 400, and the Royal Enfield Classic 350 will compete with the Hero Mavrick when it makes its debut.
The Mavrick 440’s rounded headlight and what looks to be a daytime running light assembly give it an external neo-retro aesthetic, based on the newly revealed designs. The neutral riding position offered by the Maverick 440’s upright handlebars makes it perfect for both long trips and city commuting.
We estimate that the bike will be on sale for Rs 2 lakh (Ex-Showroom), while the firm has not yet disclosed the price.
