Engine and transmission

A 163cc air-cooled and fuel-injected motor powers the Xtreme 160R. It produces 14.2Nm and 15.2PS. It is one of the most powerful motorcycles in this market despite having a 2-valve engine. It has a five-speed transmission.

The 160.3cc single-cylinder, air-cooled, oil-cooled engine of the Bajaj Pulsar NS160 is what gives the vehicle its power. It produces 17.2PS at 9000 rpm and 14.6Nm at 7250 rpm, making it the most powerful motorbike in its category. A 5-speed transmission is coupled with the engine. Moreover, while having BS6 Phase 2-ready capabilities, the upgraded NS160 produces the same output figures.

Features

A digital instrument cluster, connectivity features, front knuckle guards, a muscular tank with a 3D emblem, an exterior grab rail, an LED tail lamp and winkers, sporty exhausts, and a belly shroud are all included in the Hero Xtreme 160R.

A strong, aggressive streetfighter design with a mass-forward appearance is given to the Pulsar NS160. It has a semi-digital instrument cluster with an odometer, trip metre, clock, fuel level, and halogen headlamp with pilot lighting. Although the updated 2023 model’s console has been somewhat modified and now displays the gear position, current mileage, and the distance until empty.

In India, the cost of the Hero Xtreme 160R ranges from Rs. 1,18,616 to Rs. 1,29,738. Hero Xtreme 160R is available in 4 variations.
