Honda Activa 6G: The October 2022 two-wheeler sales statistics for India have been released, and it reveals some intriguing peaks and troughs in the sales graph of particular models. The sales list has seen a lot of shifting, but Honda’s Activa has remained the most popular scooter in India. Similar to how the Hero Splendor continues to hold the top rank in motorcycle sales, the Shine also secured the second spot. Here are the top three Honda two-wheelers from last month’s sales, followed by the exact numbers.

Top 3 selling two-wheelers
- Honda Activa 6G/125 – 2,10,623 Units
- Honda Shine – 1,30,916 Units
- Honda Unicron – 31, 986 Units
Although the Unicorn sold far less than the Activa and Shine, it experienced the largest year-over-year gain at 352%. Notably, Honda only sold 7,077 Unicorns during the same month the previous year. In contrast, Activa and Shine saw increases in sales of 7% and 15% over the same month last year, respectively.
The company’s worldwide line-up underwent a significant overhaul during this year’s EICMA, whereas Honda has remained somewhat quiet regarding the expansion of its product portfolio in India for some time. The new 500cc scrambler from Honda called the CL500, which is based on the same platform as models like the Rebel 500 and CB500X, was the most intriguing Honda product at the motorcycle exhibition.
