Honda Jazz 2023 facelift unveiled, will have 10 airbags and sportier looks, all you need to know

Honda Jazz 2023: A facelifted version of the new generation Jazz has made its international premiere as Honda prepares to withdraw it from the Indian market. The Jazz being sold in India belongs to the earlier generation, which has already been phased out in several international markets. Due to the new generation Jazz’s higher price tag, India did not receive it. Honda has now given the Jazz’s current generation a facelift. Honda has added a new, better-defined grille and a headlamp component that is darker to the exterior design upgrade. The front and rear bumpers’ bottom portions are textured and look more sculpted. The design of the alloy wheels in the Advance grade features new colours. These modifications are meant to improve the Jazz Elegance and Advance grades’ visual appeal.

New Design

Honda has made changes to the Jazz facelift’s exterior to boost its adventurous appearance. The grille now wears updated bumpers and has a distinct honeycomb appearance. Silver inserts mimic armour for the body. The revised side skirts on the Jazz Crosstar version match the bumpers. Fjord Mist blue has been added as a new exterior colour and a new finish for alloy wheels. Updates have been made to the interior colour, material, and finish options for Jazz Elegance and Advance classes. The dash and door cards have been updated, and there is new seat upholstery in the Jazz Crosstar. The dashboard, centre console, and two-spoke steering wheel also have new trim finishes.

The brand-new Advance Sport trim level comes standard with 16-inch alloy wheels, a front bumper design, a stylish lattice grille, gloss black wing mirrors, and a distinctive Urban Gray paint treatment. Black synthetic suede and grey synthetic leather are used to cover the interior seats. A striking yellow thread is used to accent the steering wheel, centre armrest, and door cards. All grades have seen adjustments to the Honda Jazz lineup. Additionally, a new Advance Sport grade expands the product line. The brand-new grade has unique styling. The updated e: HEV hybrid powertrain in the Jazz enhances driveability. And increases horsepower and towing capacity without reducing gasoline or CO2 emissions. The revisions are meant to make the Jazz lineup more appealing.

Amazing in terms of safety

In response to customer feedback, Honda has introduced towing functionality to the Jazz hybrid 2023 model. All models can now tow 500kg, increasing the car’s versatility by allowing it to haul light trailers or bike carriers. Thanks to its unusual gasoline tank layout, the inside of the New Jazz offers the most room in its class. Its adaptable rear Magic Seats, which provide both “fold-flat” and “flip-up” seat flexibility, are kept in place thanks to their location in the centre of the chassis beneath the front seats.

The modern Honda Jazz is equipped with numerous cutting-edge safety features and driving aids. The enhanced camera allows for better environmental awareness. Active safety systems have been updated to reduce their interference with normal driving. The Traffic Jam Assist function enhances crash protection and provides steering assistance from 0 km/h. The new Jazz has ten airbags and the same active safety features that earned a five-star certification in Euro NCAP safety tests. These features include front occupant knee and front centre airbags. Beginning in early 2023, New Jazz and Jazz Crosstar will be offered in European markets.
