Honda has again chosen to give the Unicorn a 162.7cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that makes 12.9PS and 14Nm; this is the same power as the previous 150cc engine, but torque is up by 1.2Nm. Nothing has changed with the five-speed transmission.
