The owner chose to have her car in a deep red instead of the company’s picked colour of yellow. An Instagram account going by the name “Car Crazy” complimented the owner of the car while posting some images of it with her.
The post caption read, “Presenting India’s first Lotus Eletre R. Finished in a shade of Natron Red, this EV makes a whopping 905 bhp and goes from 0-100 in just 2.7 seconds. Congratulations to @harshikarao on your new ride, and congratulations to @adsrulz and @krishna_vungarala on delivering the first new Lotus in India.”

Throughout the range, a 112kWh battery pack unit is the standard setup for the Eletre. The Eletre and Eletre S, equipped with two motor configurations, can produce 600 horsepower and 710 Nm of torque in addition to a 600 km range on one charge. On the other hand, the more potent Eletre R has two motors, a two-speed transmission, and a power output of over 900 horsepower and 985 Nm. A driving range of 490 kilometres is made possible by this combination.
Unlike most other cars, the inside of the Eletre is heavily tech-focused and driver-focused. Folding into the dashboard when not in use is the massive 15.1-inch infotainment display, which runs on the Lotus Hyper OS. The instrument panel has been replaced by a large, easily navigable head-up display (HUD) for the driver, and two slender information displays are uniformly spaced throughout the frontal cabin.
A 15-speaker premium sound system with Dolby Atmos and KEF, adjustable ambient lighting, soft-close doors, wireless charging, 12-way adjustable front seats, four-zone climate control, and more are highlights of the Lotus Eletre. Though regarded as significantly more advanced than the traditional camera and radar system, Lotus is providing ADAS using LIDAR technology with the Eletre.
The Lotus Eletre base model is priced at Rs 2.55 crore, the Eletre S at Rs 2.75 crore, and the Eletre R at Rs 2.99 crore (ex-showroom).
