Engine details
One 1.2-litre petrol engine with 83 Hp powers the 2023 Hyundai Aura, which may be coupled to either an AMT automatic transmission or a five-speed manual transmission. The same engine is additionally offered in CNG with a manual transmission and produces 69PS. The future of the 1-litre turbo-petrol engine choice is still uncertain.
Currently, just one 1.2-litre Dualjet 90PS petrol engine is available for the Maruti Suzuki Dzire. Either a 5-speed manual gearbox or an AMT is included with it. Despite lacking the Baleno Dualjet’s mild hybrid system, it still has a start-stop feature. A CNG kit that delivers a decreased power of 77PS and 98.5Nm and is combined with a 5-speed manual is also available for the subcompact sedan. While the AMT variant claims to have a fuel efficiency of 24.12kmpl, Maruti claims that the manual variant only achieves 23.26kmpl. A mileage of 31.12 km/kg for the CNG kit is advertised.
