Hyundai Creta EV: Hyundai unveiled the updated 2024 Creta facelift in January this year which arrived with a starting price of Rs 10.99 lakh. Additionally, Hyundai is developing the electric Creta, which is anticipated to be released later this year. The upcoming Creta EV will be built on the 2024 facelift model, according to new spy shots. The latest shots of the electric SUV reveal some of its key design elements which are also expected in the final production model. Check out more details of the electric SUV below.

Hyundai Creta EV: Features and Design

The Creta EV model is largely similar to the recently launched 2024 Hyundai Creta Facelift. It is equipped with LED sequential turn signals at the front and rear, horizon LED positioning lights and DRLs, quad-beam LED headlamps, and connected LED tail lamps.

Naturally, the closed-off grille and other EV-specific features will be present on the Creta EV. The SUV’s front and back bumpers are expected to be updated a little bit to match its electric avatar. The electric SUV is also expected to get some EV-specific branding on the front, side and back as well.

Additionally, the Creta EV’s new alloy wheels are another noteworthy design element. Their surfaces are grooved which resemble the alloy wheels with aero features seen on the recently updated Nexon EV. The alloys on the Creta EV are probably aerodynamic and complement Creta’s sporty stance. The alloys for Creta EV may come in either 17- or 18-inch sizes.

Creta EV Power

The upcoming Creta EV is expected to be equipped with an LG Chem-sourced 45 kW battery pack which will reportedly provide a maximum driving range of 300 Km on solitary charge. The Hyundai Creta EV is reportedly deriving its electric motor from the new generation Kona EV which generates a maximum power of 138 bhp and a peak torque of 255 Nm. The rest of the details about the upcoming electric SUV are not known yet.
