Engine and transmission
The 1.5-litre NA petrol engine makes 115 PS and 144 Nm, and the 1.5-litre turbo diesel engine makes 115 PS and 250 Nm. Both engines are available in the Hyundai Creta. Although an iMT clutchless manual or an iVT continuously variable (CVT) automatic gearbox are options for the base NA petrol engine, a 6-speed manual gearbox is standard. Additionally, a 6-speed torque converter is an option for the diesel engine. The forthcoming RDE standards are met by both powertrains.
A 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine powers the new Citroen SUV. This engine produces 190Nm of torque and 110bhp of power. For the gearbox, a 6-speed manual gearbox has been provided.
Features
A 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with linked car technology is one of the Creta’s features, along with a semi-digital instrument cluster. Additionally, a power-adjustable driver’s seat and ventilated front seats are included, in addition to a panoramic sunroof and wireless phone charging. It comes with six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control (ESC), vehicle stability management (VSM), hill-start assist control (HAC), all-wheel disc brakes, and ISOFIX child-seat anchors as standard equipment. Along with a rear parking camera, it also has a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS).
The C3 Aircross is expected to sport a 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a full digital driver’s display, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. Specifications for the vehicle have not yet been released. Additionally, it can be equipped with cruise control, automatic climate control, day/night IRVMs, multiple drive modes, AC vents for the second and third rows, and USB charging ports. It is also anticipated to have multiple airbags, a rearview camera with parking sensors, electronic brake force distribution, an anti-lock braking system, an electronic stability programme, hill hold assistance and a tyre pressure monitoring system.
Price in India
The Hyundai Creta has a starting price of Rs. 10.87 Lakh and a maximum price of Rs. 19.20 Lakh. 25 variations of the Hyundai Creta are available.
Currently, no pricing information has been released for the Citroen C3 Aircross. Following June, it may be launched.
