Hyundai Exter: In India’s market for inexpensive SUVs, another brand-new competitor will soon arrive. Several rumors have been circulating for a while regarding the forthcoming release of Hyundai’s new micro-SUV. Finally, on Friday, Hyundai Cars India revealed the name of its impending new SUV. It is referred to as Hyundai EXTER by the company. This inexpensive SUV will reportedly compete primarily with Tata Punch whenever it is released.
With this new SUV, Hyundai is getting ready to improve its lineup of vehicles. The company’s current product line includes models including the Tucson, Creta, and Alcazar in addition to the least expensive Venue. The business has officially revealed the name of this SUV, putting an end to earlier rumors that it will use the name of the current model Casper to introduce it to the global market.
Hyundai Exter expected specifications
The 1.2-liter petrol engine with 83 PS/114 Nm and the 1-liter turbo-petrol engine with 100 PS/172 Nm is expected to be the same ones Hyundai uses in the Grand i10 Nios to power the small SUV. The former may also have the option of a five-speed AMT, while a five-speed manual transmission is expected to be standard. Sometime after its launch, a CNG unit might be added.
Expected Features
It may include a sunroof, LED daytime running lights, projector H-shaped headlamps, and 17-inch alloy wheels, according to reports. Additionally, the interior of the vehicle has a digital MID, steering-wheel controls, and other safety measures.
Expected price in India
It can be released between August and November as anticipated, and the beginning price is likely to be around Rs 6 lakh.
