BMW Motorrad has launched C 400 GT scooter in India at Rs 9.95 lakh (ex-showroom), making it the most expensive scooter on sale in India.
With this, BMW has become the second two-wheeler maker to launch a proper maxi-scooter in India after Yamaha that launched Aerox 155 here recently.
The new C 400 GT premium midsize scooter by BMW will be available in the Indian market as a completely built-up unit (CBU).
The company has already initiated bookings for the new scooter at all BMW Motorrad India dealerships starting from today.
BMW’s mid-capacity maxi-scooter is powered by a 350cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled motor that produces 34PS at 7500rpm and 35Nm at 5750rpm.

The BMW C 400 GT gets telescopic fork and preload adjustable dual shocks. For braking, the bikemaker has equipped the maxi-scooter with dual discs at the front and a single disc at the rear.
The list of features on the BMW C 400 GT includes a TFT dashboard with bluetooth connectivity, Automatic Stability Control (ASC) and dual-channel ABS as standard.
