Security forces gunned down an infiltration attempt on the Line of Control (LOC) in Uri sector of Jammu and Kashmir, killing three terrorists. Now the video of this incident has surfaced, in which it is being seen how the Indian Army killed the Pak terrorist by showing bravery. Officials said the terrorists tried to enter this side of the Line of Control near Madian Nanak post in Kamalkot area of Uri sector of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

Defense spokesman Col Imron Mousavi in Srinagar said an operation was launched after receiving information from Army intelligence agencies about a possible infiltration attempt along the LoC. “Several operations were conducted to nab the infiltrators on the afternoon of August 24. The infiltration attempt was detected at 7 am on August 25 by intensive electronic surveillance of the suspected area.” Colonel Mousavi said that the terrorists were looking to infiltrate under the cover of dense forest and in the midst of rain. He said, on August 25 at around 9:45 am, following the presence of terrorists in the forward areas of the Indian side of the LoC, there was heavy firing from both the sides in which the terrorists were killed.
The spokesman said a detailed search of the area was completed at 2 pm and bodies of three terrorists, two AK rifles, one Chinese M-16 rifle and other munitions were recovered. “The successful operation of the Indian Army not only led to the elimination of three Pakistani terrorists, but also foiled Pakistan’s nefarious designs to disrupt peace, prosperity and normalcy in Jammu and Kashmir,” he said.
Colonel Mousavi said the use of electronic surveillance and intelligence-based operations remains the mainstay of the army’s operations against Pakistan-sponsored terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir.
Earlier, Kashmir Zone Police said in a tweet, Army and Baramulla Police gunned down three infiltrators near Madian Nanak post in Kamalkot sector of Uri.
