Harley Davidson Nightster 440: Harley Davidson X440 was recently launched by Harley, which was the joint effort or made in collaboration with Hero Moto Corp. Speculations rifes that both companies are planning to introduce next and the second product of this collaboration very soon, reason of which is Hero has taken a trademaker for the name “Nightster 440” in India.
The trademark suggests that both companies are doing joint efforts to make a cruiser on the X440’s Platform. This trademark status ” Accepted and Advertised” which means that Authorities have accepted the filing and registered it in Trademark Journal.
Taking a clue from the Trademark, we expect that this bike will be based on the X440’s platform with probably the same 440 cc single cylinder air-oil cooled engine, company is expected to make change in the tuning of this engine. The X440 set of this engine produces the maximum power output of 27 PS and a peak torque of 38 Nm.
The Nighster 440 is speculated to have a sporty cruiser style statement with a long wheel base stance and forward-set footpeg setup like Harley Davidson’s Nightster.
This bike is expected to launch in the end of 2024. Talking about the price of this bike, we expect that Harley Davidson will launch this bike with the price tag of around Rs. 2.9 lakh (ex-showroom). Nighster 440 cc is likely to compete with Royal Enfield Meteor 350, keeway V302C and the upcoming Honda Honda CB350 Cruiser.
