JLR: Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) India is actively watching the country’s demand for pure electric vehicles (EVs), and will modify its EV strategy accordingly. When it comes to electric vehicles, the Indian market has distinct expectations, with consumers seeking a variety of elements. Currently, JLR India sells only one EV in the country, the Jaguar I-Pace.

Rajan Amba, Managing Director of Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) India, told PTI, “And as such we are closely monitoring demand for battery electric vehicles (BEVs). As luxury consumers become more discerning in their choices and adoption of new technology, we are committed to delivering exceptional vehicles that exceed their expectations along these lines.”
JLR India is still positive about its sales development in the Indian market, having recorded strong sales results in the fiscal year’s first quarter. In addition, the company intends to extend its sales network in order to meet India’s growing demand for premium vehicles.

JLR is set to launch bookings for its new Range Rover BEV globally, demonstrating its commitment to electric mobility. As the luxury category expands in India and buyers embrace new technology, JLR intends to create great automobiles that suit these changing demands.
