All about the Joy Mihos
The R&D team at WardWizard in Vadodara created the new MIHOS e-scooter, which incorporates cutting-edge technology and convenient features including a car sound simulator for added safety. It receives the “Joy E- connect app” for Bluetooth control and one-tap control for Mihos Connect. In addition to other features, it is GPS equipped and provides real-time position and geo-fencing. It also accepts remote apps, allowing it to be tracked and provide battery status information to the user remotely.
While the body panels are built of Poly Dicyclopentadiene Material (PDCPD), which relates to higher durability and flexibility so as to absorb maximum impact, the onboard characteristics also include a large seat for improved riding comfort. The MIHOS is priced at Rs. 1.49 lakh, ex-showroom, and comes in Metallic Blue, Solid Black Glossy, Solid Yellow Glossy, and Pearl White.
Along with clever electronics built on the CAB, additional features include reverse mode, anti-theft regenerative braking, geo fence, and keyless function. A side stand sensor and a hydraulic combi-braking system are additional safety features (CBS). The MIHOS e-scooter has dimensions of 1,864mm long, 700mm wide, and 1,178mm high. It also has an increased wheelbase of 1,360mm and 175mm of ground clearance.
Battery and safety
WardWizard A 74V40Ah Li-ion battery with Nickel Manganese Cobalt (NMC) technology powers the Joy Mihos Electric Scooter. With an energy content of 2.5 kWh, this NMC battery delivers superior performance and is capable of longer life cycles and higher energy densities. The battery has undergone extensive reliability testing and is capable of withstanding shock loads.
In order to adapt to the country’s fluctuating weather circumstances, a series of safety sensors ensure overcurrent protection and thermal cutoff. The battery can be fully charged in just 4 hours, giving it a 100-kilometre range. It is able to accelerate from 0 to 40 km/h in less than 7 seconds. The front and back suspensions of the e-scooter are reverse spring suspension and telescopic suspension, respectively.
Joy Rockfeller bike and auto rickshaw were also unveiled
Along with the MIHOS, WardWizard provided information about the Rockefeller commuter bike that the business intends to sell in the nation. The commuter bike, which has a classic appearance with a rounded headlamp and one-piece seats, was unveiled as a concept at the 2023 Auto Expo and is scheduled to go on sale at the end of 2024.
