Rapper Kanye West declared his candidacy for US President.
Notably, West has always admired Donald Trump.
Although, he haven’t registered his candidacy with FEC ( Federal Election Commission ) for November’s election.
West chose US independence Day to make this bombshell announcement.
” We must now realise the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision and building our future. I am running for president of the United States”.
Kim Kardashian, his wife and Elone Musk supported his tweet.
In 2015 at Video Making Award of MTV, West has claimed that he is running for the White House for President in 2020.
But later on last November, West declared that he would run in the 2024 election.
In 2018, West visited White house and met President Trump.
” I love this guy right here”, best set and hugged President.
Trump replied ” That’s really nice”.
West even asked if he could be a future Presidential candidate and Trump replied ” could very well be “.
But then West said ” only after 2024, let’s stop worrying about the future. All we really have is today, we just have today” .
While his announcement triggered social media storm. People of US finding his tweet little weird and wondering how he will manage just before 4 months away from election.
