The film has not released in India for obvious reasons. However, that shouldn’t stop Indians from experiencing this cinematic extravaganza. Filmmaker Karan Johar recently touched down Dubai and decided to watch the epic actioner there.

Karan Johar found himself at the audience’s seat in a packed theatre in Dubai to watch Fawad Khan’s latest release The Legend of Maula Jatt. The most expensive Pakistani film yet, the film marks Fawad Khan’s return to the big screen after a three-year-long hiatus. The actor was last seen in Parey Hut Love.
Meanwhile, Karan was captured by the moviegoers at a Dubai theatres. In the now-viral pictures, he was seen leaving the theatre alone.

Netizens have reacted to Karan Johar watching the film despite its ban in India. Some internet users took to social media to share Johar’s photo saying he is the true fan of Fawad Khan. The Pakistani heartthrob has worked with the filmmaker in his directorial Ae Dil Hai Mushqil so the admiration is understandable. Fawad Khan was also a part of Indian film Kapoor & Sons which was bankrolled by Karan Johar’s Dharma Production

Yesterday, we had reported The Legend of Maula Jatt had surpassed the combine earnings of Akshay Kuamr’s Ram Setu and Ajay Devgn’s Thank Go in the UK. On its 13th day in UK, the film had collected Rs USD 46,825 USD (Rs. 38.40 lakhs) from 56 screens.
The Legend of Maula Jatt is based on the life of who is tortured by his past demons and seeks to win against one of the most fearsome fighters of the time, Noori Natt. Apart from Fawad Khan, the film also stars Mahirah Khan.
