We know that if we come to power, we will solve the problem.’

On the same issue, Karnataka CM Basavaraj Bommai said, ‘Waterlogging in Bengaluru is due to the mis-administration and totally unplanned administration of the previous Congress government. They allowed right, left and center for lakes and buffer zones.’
During this, he assured the public that his government was committed to restore normalcy. After this statement of CM Bommai, Karnataka Congress President DK Shivakumar hit back saying, ‘He (Bommai) and his administration should work or face elections. We know that if we come to power, we will solve the problem. Not only this, he said that the ‘corrupt’ government of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and its officials are responsible for the current situation in Bengaluru.’
