Powertrain details
A 451cc parallel-twin engine, similar to the Ninja 400’s, powers the Eliminator 500. However, this engine can produce 45 BHP at 9,000 rpm and 42.6 Nm at 6,000 rpm because of its longer stroke, larger throttle bodies, and larger airbox. A 6-speed gearbox and the engine are connected by a slip/assist clutch.
Shotgun 650 is powered by the same 648cc parallel-twin engine that powers Super Meteor 650. It has a 6-speed gearbox and generates 47 BHP and 52.3 Nm.
Features onboard
With a circular LCD instrument console that houses vital functions including a tachometer, fuel gauge, coolant temperature indication, gear position indicator, two trip metres, and more, the Kawasaki Eliminator 500’s functionality is further enhanced. Furthermore, calls and notifications may be made using the console’s Bluetooth connectivity via the Kawasaki Rideology app.
It has a Tripper navigation pod, dual-channel ABS, LED lighting throughout, and other Super Meteor-specific features and technologies. There will be a single-seat and a dual-seat version of the Shotgun 650 available from Royal Enfield.
Price in India
the newly released Kawasaki Eliminator cruiser in India retails for ₹5.62 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Shotgun 650’s pricing will be made public later, although it is anticipated to be far less than that of the 25-unit limited-run Motoverse version, which is priced at Rs 4.25 lakh (ex-showroom).
