Kawasaki W175 Street: The Japanese bike manufacturer, Kawasaki launched the all-new W175 Street in India today. The new cruiser bike is launched with an introductory price tag of Rs. 1.35 lakh (ex-showroom). Kawasaki has launched the new bike in India Bike Week 2023. The all-new Kawasaki gets retro styling and comes with a mighty 177 cc single-cylinder engine which makes this bike one of the most powerful yet affordable bikes in Kawasaki’s portfolio. The company has also announced that deliveries of the Kawaski W175 Street will start this month. The Japanese brand claims that Kawasaki W175 Street is a made-in-India and made-for-India motorcycle.
Kawasaki W175 Street Specs
The all-new Kawasaki machine features a retro-themed circular headlamp surrounded by a chrome bezel which adds stars to the retro styling of the bike. The manufacturer offers the all-new motorcycle in three colour options which include a Candy Emerald, Metallic Moondust Gray and Green colour.
The newly launched Kawasaki W175 Street sits below the already launched W175 in Kawasaki’s portfolio. Kawasaki W175 comes with a higher price tag of Rs. 1.47 lakh (ex-showroom) in India. The new Kawasaki W175 can be considered as a cheaper version of the W175. In terms of design, the bike derives a basic retroelement from the previously launched Kawasaki W175.
Kawasaki W175 Street: Braking and Suspension
The bikes cruise on the alloy wheels. The braking duties of the Kawasaki W175 are handled by 270mm disc and single-channel ABS at the front side and telescopic front forks and dual shock suspension at the rear.
Kawasaki W175 Street: Engine and Power
Engine specs of the Kawasaki W175 include a 177 cc single-cylinder engine that utilizes fuel injection technology. The powerhouse comes matted to a 5-speed transmission and generates a maximum power of 12.82 bhp and a peak torque of 13.3 Nm at 6000 rpm.
