Engine details
A 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine with 115 PS, a 1.5-litre diesel engine with 116 PS and a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine with 160 PS are the three powertrain choices available for the Kia Carens. The other two models, the NA petrol and the iMT clutchless manual, only have a six-speed manual transmission option. When it comes to automatic transmissions, the turbo-petrol engine is paired with a seven-speed DCT, while the diesel engine is given a six-speed torque converter.
A 1.5-litre petrol engine with DualJet and mild-hybrid technology and a standard 5-speed manual gearbox powers the XL6. It produces 103 PS and 137 Nm of torque. Instead of the former 4-speed automatic option, a 6-speed automatic with paddle shifters is now available. The claimed fuel efficiency of the manual transmission is 20.97 kmpl, while the automatic transmission is 20.27 kmpl. The CNG kit only has a five-speed manual transmission and delivers 88PS and 121.5Nm less power and torque when mated with the 1.5-litre petrol engine. The fuel efficiency increases to 26.32 km/kg while using CNG.
Features
A 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a digital instrument cluster, cruise control, and electric one-touch folding second-row seats are included in the list of features of the Kia Carens. Air-conditioned front seats, a single-pane sunroof, and ambient lighting with 64 hues are also included.
A seven-inch infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, paddle shifters, heated front seats, and a 360-degree camera are among the features of the six-seater MPV. Additionally, it has auto AC, cruise control, and a driver seat with height adjustment.

The Kia Carens is priced from Rs. 10.45 Lakh to Rs. 18.95 Lakh. There are 19 different models of the Kia Carens.
