Kia EV5 specifications

According to the report, Kia is planning to introduce this vehicle with two motors, which would enable it to produce 229 bhp of power and 350 NM of torque while travelling up to 530 km on a single charge. Four-wheel drive is an option the manufacturer can offer for its production variant.

Features

In this electric SUV concept car, Kia reportedly also paid attention to safety. Eight airbags, disc brakes on all four wheels, ABS, EBD, HAC, VSM, MCBA, ESS, and front and rear parking sensors are some of the features that the manufacturer has included.

A big dashboard, touchscreen entertainment system, two large standalone screens, a panoramic sunroof, and dual-tone interiors are just a few of the cabin’s features. The EV5 has solar panels under the windscreen that will be used to recharge the battery. In addition to this, this electric vehicle has LED lights and DRLs. Also, the side aspect of the vehicle has been improved using 21-inch alloy wheels.

Expected launch date and expected price

The company has just debuted its concept model. Following this, only after passing numerous testing will its production version be released. In such a case, it is anticipated that the EV5 can be launched by the end of this year or the beginning of the following year. The product might possibly cost around Rs 30 lakh and the company could introduce it first to the Chinese market.
