Kia to launch all-electric EV9 SUV, likely to give 501 Kms of range on a single charge, all we know

Kia: As part of its electrification initiatives, Kia, the second-largest automaker in South Korea, announced on Sunday that its all-electric EV9 flagship SUV will go on sale in the country this week.

Kia EV9 powertrain details

The 99.8 kilowatt-hours two-wheel-drive EV9 has a range of 501 km on a single charge and has a battery capacity. The business announced in a statement that an all-wheel-drive model is also offered.

Features

It has two 12.3-inch touchscreens inside, each with a 5-inch display, and the second row’s seats can rotate 180 degrees. Third-row cupholders and charging connections are also available for the EV9.

Price in India

Depending on choices, the model, which will go on sale on Monday, will cost between 73 million won and 82 million won ($57,000 and $64,000).

At its factory in Gwangmyeong, just south of Seoul, Kia intends to build around 100,000 units of the new model annually for export.
