Italian super sports car maker Lamborghini, which crossed cumulative sales milestone of 300 units in India last month, is looking to double the number in the next four years on the back of robust demand for its vehicles in the country, according to a senior company official.
Though the Italian supercar maker took around a decade to cross the 300 units cumulative sales milestone, Lamborghini India Head Sharad Agarwal believes that now the pace of adding cars has increased over the last few years.
“In the last four years we have added more than 150 cars. So 50 per cent (of the total) has come in the last four years,” he told PTI.
He added that Lamborghini anticipates a faster pace of adding cars as the company goes ahead with sales in the country, and this will only further increase. “In two years, we will reach 450 units from the current 300 units,” Agarwal said.

The luxury sports car manufacturer in 2016 came up with the concept of Lamborghini in your city. In 37 cities the company identified three to five prospects and gave them the Lamborghini. The company sold 52 cars in 2019. But it saw 30% decline 2020 due to the pandemic.
Lamborghini is also focused on increasing sales volume by quickly bringing new models to the Indian market while creating an experience that allows customers to “enjoy Lamborghini in an Indian environment.” This year alone, the company launched the Furacan EVO RWD Spider, Urus Pearl Capsule, Urus Graphite Capsule, and Furacan STO here.
This year, the company also achieved the milestone of delivering the 100th Urus SUV in India in the first quarter. This created a performance benchmark for the fastest delivery of 100 cars in the ultra-luxury sports car segment.
