New Delhi: UPSC CSE prelims 2022: This is great news for the students preparing for the UPSC exam. The application process for Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2022 and Indian Forest Service (IFS) Examination 2022 will end today at 6 pm.
Interested candidates who have not yet applied for UPSC CSE Pre Exam can apply for the exam by visiting the official website of UPSC at upsc.gov.in and upsconline.nic.in. Application forms can be filled up to 6:00 PM on 22 February 2022. The commission has started the online application process for UPSC Prelims 2022 for Civil Services Examination (CSE) and Indian Forest Service (IFS) examination from 2 February 2022.
UPSC Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination 2022 will be conducted on Sunday, June 5, 2022. According to the exam schedule, about 861 posts were to be filled through this exam, however, recently UPSC has informed that 150 in Indian Railway Management Service (IRMS), Group ‘A’ through Sarkari Civil Services Examination- 2022. Decided to recruit personnel. The Government (Department of Personnel and Training) issued a notification on February 17, 2022, adding IRMS, Group ‘A’ in the list of services for recruitment through Civil Services Examination-2022. Therefore, now 1011 posts will be recruited through this examination.
How to Apply for UPSC Prelims 2022
1.Visit the official website of Union Public Service Commission upsc.gov.in
- Click on Apply Now option available on the homepage
- Click on the link “Online Application for Various Examination”
- Alternatively, candidates can apply from the direct link given below.
- Complete the application process for UPSC IAS and IFS in two parts.
- In the first part, fill the basic details
- After reading all the required instructions click on ‘Submit’ option.

9.Pay the application fee online and select the exam center
10.Upload Required Documents and Download Application Form
- Take a printout of the application form for future reference
As per the official notification, an e-admit card will be issued to the eligible candidates about three weeks before the commencement of the examination.
