Lexus LM teased in India ahead of official launch, will be based on Toyota Vellfire, All you must know

Lexus LM: The first round of teasers for Lexus India’s upcoming LM MPV have been made public. The new Toyota Vellfire MPV, which just debuted in India, serves as the basis for the Lexus LM, which is currently in its second iteration. Several months ago, the second-generation LM MPV was unveiled at this year’s Shanghai Auto Show.

Lexus LM expected powertrain

The new Lexus LM offers two petrol-hybrid powertrain choices. The Lexus LM350h will offer the 2.5-litre self-charging hybrid engine that is seen in other Toyota and Lexus vehicles, which also comes standard with four-wheel drive. Additionally, India might choose this powertrain.

Features onboard

The LM is offered in four-, six-, and seven-seat configurations in a number of foreign regions. The former is designed to feel like a lounge, with a huge 48-inch screen for the back passengers and a glass wall dividing the front and back rows.
Comparable to the Vellfire, the interior offers a Solis White or an all-black cabin option. The cabin is adorned with amenities like a wireless charging station, a mini refrigerator, and 50-colour ambient lighting. Additionally, the LM has ADAS technologies like adaptive cruise control, pre-collision warning with brake help, and proactive drive assist.

Expected price in India

Expect the Lexus LM to cost more than the Toyota Vellfire, which retails for an already pricey Rs 1.2 crore to Rs 1.3 crore (ex-showroom).
