Lucknow News: After Cabinet clears the route for the expansion of CMAPS Scheme. Government set to employ over 83 lakh youth through Chief Minister Apprenticeship Promotion scheme. It will include all graduate students irrespective of their streams. Provision of 100 crore has been made in the department of higher education. The main purpose of the project is to connect diploma and degree holders of all streams with jobs through skill development.
Program will benefit maximum number of Youths
Program will encourage maximum number of youths for apprentice training benefitting industries through financial assistance. Government will give Rs1000 as reimbursement to every trainee along with the stipend. The scheme will be implemented in all the industries and establishments that are training apprentices. Scheme will also stick to the guidelines established by the Center. The scheme will enable both government and private organizations to contribute to a development of a skilled work force.
Registered Trainees will receive benefits
Under the scheme only registered trainees will be able to get the benefits. After completing the training the candidate will be provided a certificate by the government. Govt has already adked higher education officials to arrange a cell for the implementation of the scheme.
