Lucknow News:: India’s largest Agra-Lucknow Expressway will have the Ambulance facility to provide Medical help to the accident victims. The idea to build this Expressway is not only to reduce the travel time but also to open up new doors for Industrial and Urban Development of the particular region. It will add a new chapter in the growth and development of Uttar Pradesh. The search for the land to built the expressway was started in the year 2014 and in over a period of 6 months. 90% of the land was acquired with the consent of the land owners. The construction on the expressway was completed in a time duration of over 24 months.
Expressway built over a budget of 15 Crore Rupees
The Expressway was built by the Uttar Pradesh Expressways Industrial Development Authority. The main purpose of this expressway is to reduce traffic in the overcrowded roads and to kill pollution and carbon footprint. This expressway will shorten the travel distance between Agra and Lucknow. It is currently one of the largest expressways in the country. It was inaugurated in the year 2016 by the chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. The cost of the entire Project is over 15 crore rupees.
