Mahindra BEV: Two unique brands—XUV.e and BE, a newly created electric-only sub-brand are used to identify Mahindra’s planned line of electric SUVs. Compared to the BE, which has three models, the XUV.e has two.
Although each model line will have its own design aesthetic, they will all be supported by the same born-electric INGLO platform. Beginning in December 2024, the XUV.e range will be the first to go into production, followed by the BE models in October 2025.
Mahindra will debut these vehicles at the Mahindra EV Fashion Festival in Hyderabad on 10th February.

Mahindra BEV Lineup
Born Electric, or BE, is an acronym that indicates that a car is entirely electric and does not share a body with an ICE-based vehicle. In addition, ICE spinoffs are added to the XUV.e lineup. Mahindra means what it says when it uses the term “global standards,” as this platform may also be found in cars sold elsewhere. The capacity of the battery will be between 60 kWh and 80 kWh. RWD configuration will have 170 kW (228 horsepower), and AWD configuration will have 250 kW. (335 bhp). Mahindra’s INGLO platform is reportedly range tested as well.
Indian testing rounds get a range of about 675 km, while the WLTP round got a range of 430 km. These numbers are not provided in connection to the battery capacity and specific vehicles in the model range. Mahindra’s electric SUVs are available in two lineups, each with a different model range. BE.05, BE.07, and BE.09 are included in the BE lineup, while the XUV.e lineup also contains XUV.e8 and XUV.e9.
XUV.e SUV’s
With its selection of ICE models, Mahindra’s XUV brand is already well recognised, but the business is utilising fresh branding for its electric version. As already seen on the recently introduced XUV400, the twin peaks emblem on the XUV line of EVs will have a copper finish. A more electrified version of the XUV700 is the XUV.e8, the first of the XUV.e series. The XUV700 is just theoretically related to this vehicle; it is not an ICE-to-electric conversion. The XUV.e9, an entirely new car with a coupe-like shape that will begin manufacturing in April 2025, will come after it.
