Mahindra Bolero: In December 2022, sales of one of Mahindra’s SUVs increased significantly, making it one of India’s top automakers. With 7,311 units sold last month, the Mahindra Bolero, which is actually the rebranded and enhanced version of the TUV300 SUV, was the brand’s best-selling SUV in India. This marks a 38 percent increase over Mahindra’s sales of 5,314 Bolero cars in December 2021.

Mahindra Bolero sales
Both rural Indian markets and state governments have shown a strong interest in the Mahindra Bolero Neo. Its fortunes have changed as a result of the discontinuation of the original Bolero SUV and the rebranding of the TUV300 as the Bolero Neo. Mahindra made every attempt to make the TUV300 a popular SUV, but it failed. However, the Bolero Neo has achieved success as a result of its enhanced attributes and layout.
The Scorpio/ Scorpio-N comes in at number two for Mahindra sales with total sales of little over 7,000 units, representing a 300 per cent increase over the same period in 2021. Mahindra was only able to sell 1,757 Scorpio vehicles in December 2021. The XUV700 is in third place with 5,623 units sold, up 20% from 3,980 units in December 2021.
Although the XUV300 and Thar, two other Mahindra vehicles, also fared well, they did not have as much of an impact on sales as the Bolero, Scorpio, and XUV700. Mahindra experienced a solid YoY gain in December 2022 sales thanks to its strong SUV lineup. From 17,476 units in December 2021 to 28,333 units in December 2022, the aggregate dispatches increased by 62.13 per cent.
Mahindra’s Electric vehicles
The XUV400, Mahindra’s first electric SUV, was just introduced. Price-wise, the XUV400 is positioned between its two main rivals, the Tata Nexon EV and Tata Nexon EV Max. The XUV400 has received positive client feedback, according to the firm, and this suggests that Mahindra will benefit from having it in its lineup of vehicles.
