Mahindra Electric XUV700: Longtime electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer Mahindra & Mahindra has been developing a variety of EVs. At a private event in the UK in August of last year, the manufacturer displayed concept prototypes for its next EVs. The XUV.e8, an all-electric version of the XUV700, was one of the five prototypes that were unveiled.

It will have a full-width LED DRL stripe that spans the top of the bonnet, as can be seen in the leaked concept sketch. In addition to having a revised design for the wheels, the headlamps are now situated lower on the bumper. Along with the brand’s twin peal logo, a closed-off fascia, and copper accents on the bumpers and window line will be added to the XUV.e8.
Powertrain details
All vehicles built on the INGLO platform would, according to Mahindra, include a 60-80kWh battery pack combined with an electric engine with a stated range of 400-450km. Support for 175kW charging will also be on the table. The forthcoming Harrier EV is anticipated to compete against the model in the Indian market.
