Mahindra Price Hike: Mahindra has recently made a considerable increase in the prices of its flagship offerings which include the Mahindra XUV700 and Scorpio-N. The newly announced price hike will come into effect from today for some variants of the mentioned SUVs. The automakers have stated the rising cost of production as the reason for the announced price hike.
The announcement is not a piece of sudden news coming from the automaker as it earlier announced that some vehicles in its offerings will cost more by January 2024. A noticeable thing about the recent price hike is that it has increased the price hike of these SUVs by up to Rs. 57000.
Mahindra XUV700 Price Hike
According to the official information available on the Mahindra’s website. The newly announced price hike has significantly increased the prices of Mahindra XUV700 as the AX7 7 seater petrol variant has witnessed a hefty price hike of Rs. 57000, the price for the same variant with a diesel engine that comes in automatic and manual transmissions has gone up by Rs. 53000.
Mahindra has also dropped the pricings for 8 variants of the SUV which includes 4 entry-level variants which now come with a price cut of Rs 15000 and the AX5 diesel variant has witnessed a massive price drop of Rs. 21000. The flagship XUV700 now starts with a price tag of Rs. 13.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and goes up to Rs. 26.99 lakh (Ex-showroom). Another noticeable thing is that the new price hike has not affected as many as seven variants of the SUV.
Mahindra Scorpio-N Price Hike
On the Other hand, the Scorpio and Scorpio-N have also seen a price hike of Rs. 40000. All the variants of these SUVs now come with an increased price tag. The price hike ranges from the nominal Rs. 1000 to Rs. 40000. The Z8 L 6-seater variant that comes in both automatic and manual transmissions has witnessed the biggest price hike. The entry-level petrol variant of the Mahindra Scorpio-n has gone up by Rs. 34000.
On the other hand, the entry-level diesel variant attracted a price hike of Rs. 24000. The flagship Scorpio-N now starts with a price tag of Rs. 13.60 lakh (ex-showroom) which reaches up to Rs. 24.54 lakh (ex-showroom) for the top end model.
