Mahindra Sales: Mahindra has released its sales data for the month of October 2023. The automaker has recorded the highest growth in Sports Utility Vehicle and commercial vehicle sales. According to the officially released data, Mahindra and Mahindra sold 80679 vehicles in October’ 23 along with recording 32 percent Year-on-Year growth.
Ultilty Vehicle Sales
The automaker has recorded the highest sales for the fourth consecutive month in the utility category. The company sold 43408 units in the domestic market. In the domestic market, it recorded the growth of 36 percent in this segment.
If we talk about utility vehicle exports, the company exported 556 units of the utility vehicles as the total sales in the segment was 44264. It also recorded higher ever domestic sales of commercial vehicles with the sale of 25715 units.
Three-wheeler and Commercial Vehicle Sales
In the three-wheelers and commercial vehicle category, Mahindra and Mahindra recorded a rise of 85 percent in October. The brand sold 9402 units in October’ 23 as compared to just 5081 units in Oct’ 22.
The company has also recorded postive figures in the light commercial vehicle category as it sold 1031 units in October’ 23 when compared to the sales of 690 units in Oct’ 22.
Farm Equipment Sector Sales
Mahindra and Mahindra farm equipment sector alsp released its October 2023 sale figures. The Farm equipment sector recorded a decline in sales with 49336 units sold in Oct’ 23 as compared to the sale of 50539 units in Oct’ 22.
While the total sales (including exports and domestic sales) for the farm equipment sector stood at 50460 units when compared to the 51994 units sold in October 2022.
