Engine details

The 2.0-litre turbo-petrol from Mahindra produces 200 PS and 380 Nm of torque, and the 2.2-litre diesel comes in two states of tune: 156 PS and 360 Nm (MX trim) and 185 PS and 450 Nm (AX trim). While the remaining powertrains come with both manual and 6-speed automatic options, the 156PS engine is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission.

The updated Hector shares its powertrain with the outgoing model, which offers three options: a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol ICE with 143 PS, a 1.5-litre mild-hybrid with 143 PS, and a 2-litre diesel engine with 170 PS. The non-hybrid petrol engine comes with a CVT transmission as an option, but a six-speed manual gearbox is standard. The Indonesian markets also receive a strong-hybrid powertrain with a 2-litre petrol engine providing 123PS and 168Nm and an electric motor delivering 174PS and 320Nm.

Features

A six-way powered driver seat, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, and up to 12 speakers are just a few of the comforts that the XUV700 comes equipped with. Additionally, it has a dual-zone climate system, a panoramic sunroof, and Alexa connectivity that is already built in.

A 14-inch touchscreen infotainment system also included in the redesigned Hector, is among the features on board the Hector Plus. A motorised tailgate, a panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charging, and ventilated front seats are also included.

Price in India

The Mahindra XUV700 costs between Rs. 13.45 Lakh to Rs. 25.48 Lakh. 23 variations of the Mahindra XUV700 are available.

The MG Hector Plus has a starting price of Rs. 17.50 Lakh and a maximum price of Rs. 22.43 Lakh. 11 different models of MG Hector Plus are available.
