Haryana Government has changed the departments of 24 IAS officers with immediate effect, making a big change in the bureaucracy in the midst of the peasant movement. Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister V. Umashankar has also been given the responsibility of Information and Public Relations Department. Additional Principal Secretary Amit Agarwal will be the new Director General of Information and Public Relations Department.
Varindra Singh Kundu has also been posted as Additional Chief Secretary, Labor Department. PK Das will now be the additional chief secretary of the Department of Power and New and Renewable Energy. TC Gupta has been appointed member secretary of the Haryana Government Reform Authority and additional chief secretary of the Housing for All Department, implementation of works related to mining and geology, employment, Chief Minister announcements.
The Haryana government has handed over the food and supplies department from senior IAS officer PK Das to Anurag Rastogi. PK Das will now replace TC Gupta with the power and new energy department. Women and Child Development Department has been withdrawn from Senior IAS Amit Jha and assigned to the Development and Panchayat Department. He will be the additional chief secretary of this department. Sudhir Rajpal, Principal Secretary, Panchayat Department, will now take charge of Civil Aviation Department as well as GMO and Faridabad Metropolitan CEO.
