Makka Polestar: A new electric moped version was unveiled by two Swedish EV manufacturers that is intended to manoeuvre through city traffic while looking stylish. A new, limited-edition CAKE Makka e-moped by Polestar has been released in collaboration with electric vehicle manufacturer Polestar and electric motorcycle manufacturer CAKE.
The manufacturer of electric motorbikes was formerly recognised for its higher-speed, higher-power electric motorcycles, which ranged from off-road dirtbikes to highway-capable vehicles.

Cake Makka Polestar
The Makka was CAKE’s first electric motorcycle designed exclusively for urban use. Its reduced top speed of 45 km/h (28 mph) let it pass through moped-friendly laws in several countries. Therefore, the majority of users won’t even require a motorcycle licence to use it.
To complement the Polestar electric roadster idea, the limited edition bicycle is given a sky-coloured hue. The new Makka Polestar edition is sold and delivered by Cake and is only accessible through certain Polestar markets on the Polestar Additionals website. The moped provides two ride modes for balanced performance or extended range and has a top speed of 28 mph.
In 2021, Polestar and Cake collaborated to create the first Makka Polestar. Polestar Snow, a matte hue, was applied to it, and it rapidly sold out. The Polestar model, which is based on Cake’s Makka electric moped, has a compact headlight and premium Ohlins suspension dampers. A removable rear cargo carrier that allows for a versatile arrangement for boxes, racks, passenger seats, and more is included in the new sky colour second edition.
Polestar O2
The electric roadster is expected to go on sale in 2026, as Polestar previously predicted. The second Makka Polestar edition moped was inspired by the O2, which Polestar unveiled in March, and uses the same sky-coloured paint.
The O2 roadster will arrive on the same platform as the Polestar 5 and make use of Polestar’s 800-volt EV design. With a top speed of 155 mph and up to 884 horsepower and 664 pound-feet of torque, a dual-motor powertrain can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in the low three-second range.
