Maruti Suzuki Baleno: The new-generation Maruti Suzuki Baleno will soon receive a software update from Maruti Suzuki. The nine-inch SmartPlay Pro+ infotainment system in the hatchback now supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It is being sent out as an over-the-air (OTA) update for the Baleno hatchback’s top-spec Zeta and Alpha models.
Turn-by-turn navigation will be available on the Maruti Suzuki Baleno’s heads-up display and the MID in the instrument panel thanks to wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.
Maruti Suzuki Baleno
The Maruti Suzuki Baleno debuted earlier this year in February. The 2022 Baleno debuts in a new tech-savvy form factor with young and new-age customers in mind. It has industry-first features like Suzuki Connect, a head-up display, and a 360-degree camera. To prevent distraction, the head-up display puts all the necessary driving information right in front of the rider’s eyes. While the 360-degree View Camera is helpful when parking and in crowded locations.
Engine specifications
The Maruti Suzuki Baleno has an Advanced KSeries Dual Jet, Dual VVT engine that produces a maximum output of 66 kW at 6000 rpm and 113 Nm of torque at 4400 rpm. Baleno claims that the AGS variant will get 22.94 km/l while the manual transmission variant would get 22.35 km/l. The upgraded Auto Gear Shift (AGS) transmission and 5-speed manual are features of the 2022 Baleno.
Safety features
The hatchback has numerous security measures, including anti-hill control, six airbags, and more on the safety front. The Suzuki emblem is branded on a bigger front grill on the 2022 Baleno, along with DRL taillamps and alloy wheels.
Price in India
The starting price of the Maruti Suzuki Baleno is 6.5 lakh (ex-showroom). There are four types of it: Alpha, Zeta, Delta, and Sigma. The most expensive model is Rs 9.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The Toyota Glanza is up against the hatchback.
