Engine and power

The 67PS/89Nm 1-litre DualJet petrol and 56PS/82Nm 1-litre CNG are the two engine options that Maruti Suzuki offers for the Celerio. A base 5-speed manual transmission and an optional AMT are available as options (limited to the petrol mill). The hatchback’s claimed fuel economy is 26.68 kmpl and 35.50 km/kg (on CNG).

A conventional 5-speed manual transmission and a 5-speed AMT are mated to 1-litre and 1.2-liter DualJet petrol engines, respectively, to provide (67PS/89Nm) and (90PS/113Nm) of propulsion. The 1-litre engine can also be purchased with a CNG kit and a 5-speed manual transmission, producing 57PS and 82.1Nm. The 1-litre petrol is advertised to have a fuel economy of 25.19 km/l, while it is advertised to produce 34.05 km/kg when used with a CNG kit. The 1.2-litre engine is rated at 24.43 kph with the automatic transmission and 23.56 kph with the manual transmission.

Features

A seven-inch touchscreen, push-button start/stop, passive keyless entry, and manual air conditioning are included with the Celerio. The Celerio offers a hill-hold assist, dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, and rear parking sensors for further security.

A four-speaker audio system, a seven-inch touchscreen, steering-mounted audio and phone controls, and other features have all been added by Maruti to the Wagon R. It comes equipped as standard with dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, and hill-hold assist (only on AMT variants).

Price in India

The Maruti Celerio has a starting MSRP of Rs. 5.35 Lakh and a maximum MSRP of Rs. 7.13 Lakh. The Maruti Celerio is available in eight variations.

The Maruti Wagon R has a starting price of Rs. 5.53 Lakh and a maximum price of Rs. 7.41 Lakh. Maruti Wagon R is available in 11 variations.
