Maruti Suzuki Fronx: Maruti Suzuki, the leading automobile company in India, has launched its latest compact SUV Fronx in the market. The new SUV will compete with rivals such as Renault Kiger, Hyundai Venue, Nissan Magnite, Kia Sonet, and Maruti Suzuki’s own Brezza. The Fronx is available in five models: Sigma, Delta, Delta+, Zeta, and Alpha, and comes with a 1.0-litre Boosterjet turbo-petrol engine, similar to that used in the Baleno RS back in 2017. The SUV comes in seven colours, including Arctic White, Bluish Black, Celestial Blue, and Grandeur Grey, with dual-tone options in Opulent Red, Earthen Brown, and Splendid Silver.
Design and accessories
The Fronx SUV has some design elements inspired by Maruti Suzuki’s Grand Vitara and Baleno. However, what sets it apart is the 17-inch multi-spoke alloys, unique to the Fronx among the automobile firm’s SUVs. The SUV has dimensions of 3,995mm in length, 1,550mm in height, and 1,765mm in width. The Fronx also boasts an array of interior features, including a 9-inch touchscreen, physical controls for the HVAC system, leather-wrapped steering wheel, heads-up display, wireless charging, 360-degree camera, and 6 airbags.

The Fronx SUV begins with the Sigma model with 1.2 Petrol MT priced at Rs 7.47 lakh (ex-showroom). The Delta and Delta+ models come with both 1.2 Petrol MT and 1.2 Petrol AMT, while Delta+ is also available in 1.0 Turbo MT. Zeta, Alpha, and Alpha DT come in both 1.0 Turbo MT and 1.0 Turbo AT. The Alpha DT with 1.0 Turbo AT is the costliest model and comes with an ex-showroom price of Rs 13.14 lakh. Customers can book the Fronx with a token price of Rs 11,000.
