Engine and Transmission
A 1.5-litre petrol engine with a 103 PS mild hybrid system or a 116 PS self-charging strong hybrid unit is available for the Maruti Grand Vitara. Only the 1.5-litre motor and manual transmission may be used with the CNG package, which generates 88 PS and 121.5 Nm of torque. (15PS and 14.5Nm less than a standard car). It has a 26.6 km/kg fuel efficiency. The mild hybrid is connected to either a 6-speed automatic or 5-speed manual gearbox, with the AllGrip all-wheel-drive (AWD) system available as an option and only available with the manual gearbox. An eCVT automatic transmission is used to gear the robust hybrid powertrain, which is provided by Toyota. While the mild hybrid powertrain can achieve up to 21.11 kmpl, the strong hybrid unit has a claimed fuel efficiency of 27.97 kmpl.
Mahindra’s most recent all-aluminium mHawk diesel engine is used in the Scorpio Classic. The SUV’s 2.2-litre engine has 132PS and 300Nm of torque and comes standard with a 6-speed manual transmission. The Scorpio Classic no longer has automatic or 4×4 variants available.
Features
The Grand Vitara has a nine-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a heads-up display, a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, a wireless phone charger, ventilated front seats, and a digital driver display as standard equipment. Up to six airbags are included, along with an electronic stabilisation programme (ESP), ABS with EBD, and a tyre pressure monitoring system. (TPMS). Additionally, a 360-degree camera, hill-descent control, and ISOFIX child-seat anchors are included.
A nine-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Bluetooth and AUX connectivity as well as projector headlights with LED DRLs are features included in the Scorpio Classic. The SUV also has automatic climate control and cruise control.

The Grand Vitara begins at Rs. 10.45 lakh. With 10 colour choices, the Grand Vitara is available in 17 variations.
