Maruti Suzuki Recall Cars: If you are the one who owns a Maruti Suzuki car, then this an alert for you that the India’s Biggest Automaker has recalled 87599 Units of two popular cars- Maruti S-Presso and Eeco. In India, if we talk about Van segment, then Maruti Eeco is highest selling Van among all. Company has quoted that there is a possibility of ay functional damage in these cars, as a safety measure company has recalled these cars back.
This Recall will be applicable from 24 July, company has also stated that those cars which were sold from 5, July, 2021 to 15, February, 2023 are recalled by the Automaker. In both these cars, there can be a disfunctionality in the steering tie rod.
Defective Issue in Steering and Handling
Maruti S-Presso and Eeco owners may face handling issues due to this expected defect in the steering tie rod of these cars. If you are the one who purchased your car between 24, July, 2021 and 15, February, 2023, then you are suggested to return the car to the company as soon as possible.
Free Replacement
Owner will be informed about their defective car by the company. An Authorized Maruti Workshop will make contact with the customers. Company is not charging any replacement fee from the customer. Therefore if you are not ignoring this to avoid incurring any new expenses, then don’t hesitate, this replacement is totally free of cost by the company.
Maruti S-Presso and Eeco
Maruti S-Presso was first launched by the company in 2019 and the latest model of this car was launched last year by the company with 1 Litre Petrol Engine and Idle Start-stop technology. Maruti S-Presso Ex-showroom price starts from 4.26 lakh, S-Presso gives a great mileage of 25.3 kmpl. Maruti Suzuki’s S-Presso all variants are equipped with Dual Airbags, High Speed Alert System and a reverse parking sensor as standard feature.
AGS Variant of this car comes with added features like Hill hold Assist with Electronic Stability Program. On the other side, Maruti Suzuki Eeco is a highest seeling Van in India whcih starts from Rs. 5.24 lakh in India.
