Numerous new exterior and interior upgrades will make Xtra even more appealing to young people. As a competitor to the then-popular Renault Kwid, S-Presso was created. Kwid was unlike anything else that had ever been introduced in India at the time it was introduced. Almost like an SUV, this little cheap hatchback has a 300L box and 800 cc and 1000 cc engine options. Kwid was also suitable for Indian roads because of its 180 mm vehicle ground clearance.
When S-Presso was first introduced, it benefited from the Maruti Suzuki name, low maintenance requirements, and India’s largest dealer and service network. The pseudo skid plates, wheel-arch cladding, chrome-studded top grille, and door claddings painted in a silver tone are some highlights of the more SUV-like components. The remaining exterior features are left untouched, and alloy wheels are still not an option. Maruti should have included black wheel covers with the Xtra Edition, as they would have looked extra spectacular.
The interior of the Maruti Suzuki S-Presso Xtra Edition has undergone the most interesting upgrades. Now, the door pads have red inserts with images integrated into them, along with red accents on the dashboard and AC vents. The front footwell also has the same red finish with graphics, and it appears that additional mats designed specifically for the Xtra Edition are there.
