Maruti Suzuki Swift vs 2023 Grand i10 Nios: The Grand i10 Nios facelift was recently released by Hyundai Motor India. We all know that the Maruti Suzuki Swift, one of the most popular vehicles in the nation, will be up against the 2023 Hyundai Grand i10 Nios. But how does the new Grand i10 Nios compare in terms of cost to the Swift?
Maruti Suzuki Swift vs 2023 Grand i10 Nios: Powertrain
Both hatchbacks come in petrol and CNG versions. The new Grand i10 Nios features a 1.2-litre Kappa petrol engine with a maximum output of 83PS and a maximum torque of 113.8Nm. It may be combined with either a 5-speed manual or automatic transmission. The CNG variant has a 5-speed MT and a full power and torque output of 69PS and 95.2Nm, respectively.
The Swift has a 1.2-litre K-Series Dual-Jet Dual-VVT petrol engine that produces a maximum of 89.7PS and a maximum torque of 113Nm. It may be paired with either a 5-speed MT or an AMT. The engine’s highest output in CNG mode is 77.5PS, and its maximum torque is 98.5Nm. It only has a 5-speed manual transmission.
Prices
The Grand i10 Nios facelift’s 1.2 petrol MT option costs between Rs 5.68 lakh and Rs 7.93 lakh, and the Swift’s is priced between Rs 5.99 lakh and Rs 8.29 lakh.
The Grand i10 Nios facelift’s 1.2 petrol AMT option has a pricing range of Rs 7.23 lakh to Rs 8.46 lakh, whilst the Swift’s is Rs 7.45 lakh to Rs 8.84 lakh.
Compared to the Swift CNG, which costs between Rs 7.80 lakh and Rs 8.48 lakh, the 2023 Grand i10 Nios CNG has priced between Rs 7.56 lakh and Rs 8.11 lakh.
