A huge fire broke out in the forest near Jammu on Thursday evening. There have been several incidents of fire in the area this week. In Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, there was news of forest fire along the Line of Control on Wednesday.
After which there were also several landmine explosion incidents. Recently last week a bus caught fire in Katra area of Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday, in which four people were killed and 20 others were injured in this accident.
On Sunday, there was also an incident of fire in Trikut forest area of Reasi district. It is known that the famous temple of Mata Vaishno Devi is situated in Trikuta forest area.
However, according to officials, there was no effect of the fire on the Mata Vaishno Devi temple complex area and the pilgrimage was going on smoothly.
The fire in Trikut forest area was brought under control with the help of common people, fire brigade staff and policemen.
While another major fire broke out in the agriculture fields along International Border (IB) in Jammu.
In Rajouri district, another huge fire broke out in the Sunderbandi area near the border which spread to other forest areas, including Ghambhir, Nikka, Panjgraye, Brahamana, Moghala.
