Meerut: The father of the class IX student almost collapsed when he heard the news of his son being abducted and asked for a whopping amount of 10 lakh Rupees. Soon after the father received the call of ransom, the other family members approached the Police and informed them of the kidnapping call on phone.
‘Boy was living with Grandfather on the pretext of vacations’
After Conducting the search and investigating the matter, the Tipinagar Police managed to found the boy from Nihori village of Falvada Police station. Interestingly the student was staying with his Grandfather who was unaware of the whole kidnapping drama. The Father of the boy used to work in a Tea Stall, the father asked the boy to deposit 2000 Rupees in a bank, since then the boy never returned home.
‘Boy admitted he staged the kidnapping to extort money’
The Police was informed of the ransom call by the relatives, the cops managed to trace the location of the boy through the text messages. Cops reached the location and recovered the boy. The boy told his grandfather that he has come to live with him since his vacations are on. The boy finally confessed that he had lost the 2000 rs his father asked him to deposit in the bank, so he staged the kidnapping drama.
